We will be finishing out our "Songs for the Savior" series in Advent this Sunday. We hope that our time spent studying these classic hymns and the scripture surrounding them has not only deepened your understanding, but also reached down into your soul and brought you closer to Jesus during this season. As we study the hymn "Joy to the World" this week, paired with Psalm 98 & Luke 2:10, it is our prayer that the real joy that comes with knowing the Christ who came, the Christ who is with us now, and the Christ who will return again can equip you to end out this Christmas season with the good news of the Gospel leading the way. There are many counterfeit "joys" in this world that fail us time and time again, but Christ is no impostor. In fact, Christ is the source and embodiment of all real joy! We hope to worship with you this week and unpack this word "joy" a bit more deeply.
