The way for Jesus has been prepared by John the Baptist in the wilderness, and the time for Jesus ministry on earth has come. This week will study the baptism of Jesus Christ and how he was lead out into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan. Why were both of these acts of Jesus so crucial to the beginning of His ministry, and what do they mean for us today? If Jesus was sinless, why did He need to be baptized? How do we see the Trinity at work in the baptism of Jesus. We will wrestle with these questions and more this Sunday as we focus in on Mark 1:9-13.
