Even though Christmas has come and gone in 2014 there was still talk of the Savior's birth this Sunday in SC Kids. Our lesson for the week came from Matthew 1:18-2:15 and Luke 2:1-21 (or Story 80 from the Gospel Story Bible). Be sure to check out this week's Family Worship Guide and find a way to incorporate it into your weekly rhythms at home.

We also want to draw your attention to the Morning Star Catechism which has officially been introduced to the church as of this Sunday. Over the next few months we will be using questions and answers, as well as the supporting scripture, during our profession of faith during the Sunday gathering. In addition to using it in the gathering we are going to teach the kids a new question each week in SC Kids. We are counting on you, parents, to continue practicing and teaching your children these foundational truths of the Christian faith.
